The OMG is kindly hosting our member meeting, which coincides with the OMG's Technical Meeting being held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, November 1 - 5, 2004.

Our meeting will run from 09:00 to 17:00 both days; each day beginning with an opening one-hour plenary session.

BPMN - Following the release of the Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) v1.0 this session, chaired by Stephen White, will include a review of the specification and a discussion on future developments.

BPMS - The Business Process Management System (BPMS) acts as a mission-critical enterprise platform supporting tools that business people use to manage the lifecycle of all business processes.
This session, chaired by Howard Smith, clarifies the current evolution of the BPMS and its importance for the industry.

BPQL - The Business Process Query Language (BPQL) defines a standard interface to forthcoming Business Process Management Systems (BPMS). It allows system administrators to manage the BPMS and business analysts to query the instances of business processes it executes.
This discussion, chaired by Ismael Ghalimi, will formulate the Initiative's directions and develop a course of action with specific milestones to achieve this new standard, including collaboration with other standards bodies.
