Hi everybody,
I am currently working on a BPMN to BPEL4WS export for my diploma thesis in coorporation with the University of Leipzig, Germany.
As described in chapter 6.17 (pp. 201) there are a whole bunch of rules that need to be followed when determining the extent of a BPEL4WS structured element. Unfortunately these rules are text-only in the current spec. For the sake of implementing a properly working export it would be nice to have some kind of a logical flow diagram that could be the base of an implemented algorithm.
Was such a document designed while creating the current BPMN specification?

Alex,
Your idea is a good one, but we didn't prepare anything like that for the spec. We will target Version 1.1 (due this year) of the spec to include one and will post any drafts prior to that. I can't promise anything real soon, though, unless someone else in the working group wants to take a stab at it  .
