FUEGOTECH'S FUEGOBPM IS FIRST PRODUCT TO ADHERE TO BPMI.ORG'S BUSINESS PROCESS MODELING LANGUAGE

Platform Delivers and Extends Specification for Business Processes

DALLAS - April 03, 2001 - Fuegotech, an award-winning provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software, today became the first vendor to announce that its product conforms to the Business Process Management Initiative's (BPMI.org) Business Process Modeling Language (BPML) specification.

BPML is a meta-language for the modeling of business processes, just as XML is a meta-language for the modeling of business data. BPML provides an abstracted execution model for online business processes that span multiple applications, corporate departments and business partners, behind the firewall and over the Internet.

The FuegoBPM(TM) platform delivers the functionality defined in the latest release of the BPML specification (BPML Draft 0.4) and additionally incorporates functionality currently proposed for future releases of the specification. Customers can use FuegoBPM(TM) to provide complete business-to-business process integration and management over the Internet. FuegoBPM can also be used for intra-company business integration across multiple applications and corporate departments behind the firewall.
