INTALIO ANNOUNCES EARLY AVAILABILITY OF FIRST STANDARD BASED BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BPMS)

Intalio n3 BPMS Lets Global 2,500 Firms Implement Complex Business Processes

SAN MATEO, CA - March 27, 2001 - Intalio, Inc., the Business Process Management Company[TM], today announced the early availability of the Intalio n3 Business Process Management System (BPMS) through its Early Access Program (EAP). The Intalio n3 BPMS allows Global 2,500 firms to manage the entire lifecycle of business processes within the enterprise and among trading partners. Applications to the Intalio n3 EAP are now being accepted at www.intalio.com/eap.

The Intalio n3 BPMS consists of five components that, together, enable the design, deployment, execution, maintenance, and optimization of business processes. The heart of this system is Intalio n3 Server, a process virtual machine that supports the execution of business processes conforming to the Business Process Modeling Language (BPML), Draft 0.4, which was recently published by the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI.org). Intalio n3 Server is capable of executing collaborative and transactional business processes that span multiple applications and business partners, behind the firewall and over the Internet.

Intalio n3 enables firms to leverage their existing IT infrastructure and incorporate best-practice business processes engrained within ERP, CRM, and SCM systems. Firms will now be able to implement value-added processes capable of reflecting the level of agility required in today’s economy, including build-to-order manufacturing, collaborative value-chain execution, as well as end-to-end provisioning.
