INTRASPECT JOINS BPMI.ORG TO SUPPORT STANDARDS FOR BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Company to Play Key Role in Defining Standards to Link People-to-People And Application-to-Application Business Processes

BRISBANE, Calif. - March 30, 2001 - Intraspect Software, Inc., the leading provider of c-business(SM) solutions, today announced that it has joined the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI.org), an organization dedicated to developing open language standards that facilitate the management of business processes across multiple applications and business partners.

Leveraging its expertise in streamlining business processes and increasing productivity through collaboration, Intraspect will support BPMI.org in developing the Business Process Modeling Language (BPML) and other specifications for describing end-to-end business processes. Intraspect will help create and promote compelling standards for business process management that link application-to-application collaborative efforts with people-centric applications in markets such as supply chain management and customer relationship management.
