Hi!
Can anyone explain me why this restriction on class-B membership?
"INDIVIDUALS and is limited to the academic (student or teacher) or single independent (self-employed) consultant"

This is not a restriction, this is a DEFINITION of this type of class of membership. Membership classes are defined in the organization's BY-LAWS, and are legally approved by the Board of Directors and the membership.
Membership is open to all companies, individuals, and non-profit organizations. All membership applications are subject to approval by the Initiative's board of directors.
BPMI.org offers three classes of membership with different levels of benefits according to the membership class. For example, registration at the BPM Think Tank Miami is free for BPMI.org Class A members in good standing.
